🎮 Clair Obscur: Expedition 33: How To Solve The Esoteric Ruins Maze

Title: Mastering the Esoteric Ruins Maze in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - Comprehensive Guide In the captivating RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you'll encounter a unique challenge in the optional area known as the Esoteric Ruins. One of the quests here, issued by the glowing blue entity Portier, requires solving a tricky maze. Don't worry, we've got your back! Once you've reached the middle of the game and gathered all your party members like Lune, Maelle, Sciel, Verso, and Monoco, head on over to the Esoteric Ruins. After making your way through the ruins, you'll come across Portier who'll task you with finding some wood boards. The catch? You'll need to crack a maze to reach them! Here's a simplified guide on solving the Esoteric Ruins maze: 1. At the beginning in Room 1, shoot at light ball A which will open the door to Room 2 on the left. 2. Enter Room 2 and shoot ball A again. Then, hit light ball B in the same room. 3. Proceed to Room 4 without interacting with any other light balls. 4. In Room 4, turn around and fire at light ball C in Room 3. Stick to this path, and you'll reach the exit. Take note that the maze puzzle does not reset upon leaving the area, so it's possible you may have to resort to trial and error to find the solution. After solving the maze, you'll find some Lumina and Wood Boards near the end. Hand the Wood Boards over to Portier, and they'll transform from a blue ball to their physical form, rewarding you with the Protecting Heal Picto. This Picto applies Shell to an ally for one turn whenever they are healed. While attacking Portier seems tempting due to the reward of 3x Colour of Lumina and 1x Polished Chroma Catalyst, consider sparing Portier for a better reward later in the game. Following the completion of Act 3, you'll gain the ability to fly using Esquie, enabling you to reach Blanche situated near The Fountain, a zone adjacent to the Spring Meadows. If you've protected all friendly Nevrons offering quests across the game, Blanche will gift you 100x Lumina for your efforts. If, however, you've eliminated any Nevrons, including Portier, Blanche will attack you instead. This battle is best tackled by characters reaching level 80. Defeating Blanche will reward you with 10x Lumina and 2x Grandiose Chroma Catalyst. Collecting 100x Lumina is a much sweeter prize, necessitating the preservation of Nevrons. You can always return to the Esoteric Ruins and attack Portier once you've secured your 100x Lumina from Blanche. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is playable now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC.
