Exciting Visual Upgrades Coming to Skate in Upcoming Playtest!
Attention all Skate fans! The wait is almost over as EA and developer Full Circle announce the next Skate playtest, set to take place in early July. And guess what? It's coming with a major visual overhaul!
San Vansterdam, Here We Come!
That's right, Skate Insiders have a chance to explore the updated city of San Vansterdam in the upcoming playtest. But hurry, as invites will only be sent to those who sign up before June 27th. After that, registration will be closed.
A Feast for the Eyes
Update 0.27.0 brings significant improvements to lighting, shadows, and overall visuals in San Vansterdam. Players will also notice more environments, animations, sound effects, graffiti, traffic, and pedestrians, making the city feel more alive than ever.
Bigger Servers, Better Map
Full Circle has increased the maximum number of players per server to 150 and adjusted the in-game map to show other players' locations. This change is expected to create a more immersive and interactive gaming experience.
New Challenges, Missions, and More
The upcoming playtest will also include new missions and challenges, as well as the addition of the Market Mile neighborhood. Players' progression will be overhauled, and the tutorial has been revamped to introduce the city much sooner.
Customization Options
Players who enjoy character customization will be excited to see several new options for clothing, hair, gestures, and emotes.
