Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Guest Characters Expanded with Exciting Collaboration
Sega has announced a new collaboration with Nickelodeon, bringing popular characters SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as guest characters. Originally, Sega confirmed guest characters such as Hatsune Miku, Ichiban Kasuga (Yakuza), Joker (Persona 5), and even Steve, Alex, and Creeper from Minecraft. But the fun doesn't stop there!
As a kart racer filled with Sega characters, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds celebrates the company's rich history. With the addition of these big-name guest characters, the roster of racers is becoming even more impressive. Those who purchase the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Digital Deluxe Edition receive the Season Pass, which includes the new Nickelodeon content, Minecraft characters, vehicles, and tracks, characters from the Netflix series, Sonic Prime, and two more yet-to-be-announced collaborations.
SpongeBob SquarePants Makes a Splash in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
The trailer for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds shows SpongeBob SquarePants and his best friend, Patrick Star, cruising through the Bikini Bottom track in the Patty Wagon, a vehicle shaped like a Krabby Patty from the beloved SpongeBob SquarePants series. Sega promises a huge roster of over playable characters, and with DLC, the list is extensive, including Sonic, Dr. Eggman, Knuckles, Shadow, Tails, and now, SpongeBob SquarePants.
While Nintendo's Mario Kart World has yet to feature guest characters from outside the Nintendo pantheon, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set to bring a new wave of competition when it launches on the Switch and Switch 2 in September. This promises to rekindle the classic kart racing rivalry between Mario and Sonic.
Let the Racing Begin with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

IGN's review stated, "It's a vibe, and one that I've enjoyed and will look forward to drifting through." With the inclusion of these iconic Nickelodeon characters and an extensive roster, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is shaping up to be an unforgettable kart racing experience.
